Play the "Lake Cameron" Puzzle
Submitted by Anne Kulmala
My sister and Step Mom made the trek to Fenelon Falls from Paris, Ontario late this summer. COVID could no longer keep them away as our family added 2 new members, one in June and one in August. 2 new babies, 2 new Grandchildren for me and new Great Grandchildren for Jean Kulmala, my Step Mom. We had a “distanced” visit and walked down along the beach with some of the kids. It was a beautiful windy day with sunlight sparkling off the waves and a perfect place to be able to meet. It reminded me just how fortunate we are to live in this beautiful playground we call Fenelon Falls. My sister Barbara MacDonald, has created an online puzzle of Cameron Lake from a photo she took at Garnet Graham Park. You are invited to enjoy the jigsaw puzzle at the following link: https://www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=0acf60940814

Take the Opportunity — Make the Opportunity

This is an unprecedented time in our world. There is so much fear and uncertainty.
Mr. Rogers said "When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.”’ I remember this every day as I scroll through newsfeeds, listen to stories, and read news clips. It is all very frightening for so many people. Fear breeds and grows like wildfire as we’ve seen with food and supply hoarding all over the country. But the helpers are there, too. I have been gratified to see many people offering assistance to others, businesses taking extra steps to help seniors and offering delivery to those unable to venture out at this time.
Meet and Greet with Fred Walker

Have you ever wondered what Tarot is really about, why it works, how it works? Reading Tarot cards has come a long way since being stereotyped as a fortune-telling item, to a tool that can be of great assistance in many areas of one's life. Perhaps you have a burning question about the direction your life is heading or need some clarification on decisions you are making or sometimes just a check-in with ourselves through this ancient system of understanding. To this end a Meet and Greet gathering will be held on Saturday, February 22nd at 1 pm at Curious, 10-B Water St. in Fenelon Falls.
Free Meditation at curious? starting February 4th

With the hustle and bustle of daily life, we often find ourselves overwhelmed, anxious and stressed. Focusing on jobs, money, people, children and all manner of outside challenges, we leave our inner self to take a back seat to external pressures. All challenges feel bigger and heavier when our inner strength is low. Meditation can be a key component in strengthening our inner self. Time spent quietly connecting to our true selves allows us to refocus, clarify our purpose and re-energize our body, mind and spirit.
