Submitted by Dana Deathe
On Friday, March 13th, The Book Lady and Fenelon Falls Brewing Co. are joining forces to bring you the first Books & Brews event featuring local author David Ward. David has written two books published by ECW Press. His first book, The Lost 10 Point Night: Searching for my Hockey Hero, Jim Harrison tells the story of David’s pursuit to interview his favourite hockey player from his childhood. As David builds his friendship with former Toronto Maple Leafs enforcer Jim Harrison, the story shifts to reveal insider information about the history of the NHL, including the merger with the WHA that changed the league forever, and the ways that the NHLPA affects past and current hockey players as they give their all to play Canada’s national sport in the big leagues.
