Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society Presents Designing a Perennial Garden
Come to the Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society meeting on March 27 at the Senior Citizens Club, 58 Murray St. at 7pm. Carole Ditomaso will be speaking about Designing a Perennial Garden.

Fred Brandon Memorial Bonspiel
The Fenelon Falls Curling Club hosted the Fred Brandon Men's Bonspiel presented by Handley Lumber February 24th and 25th. This is a competitive bonspiel with 16 teams coming from as far away as Galt (Cambridge) and Ottawa.
Nominations open for the 2023 Accessibility Awareness Award
At least 22% of Canadians encounter daily challenges due to disabilities and many unsung heroes are doing their part to try and level the playing field to create equal access to community life. To shed light on the challenges and recognize the community's Accessibility Champions, each spring the Kawartha Lakes Accessibility Advisory Committee (KLAAC), a group of volunteers that advises Council, seeks out the accessibility leaders of our community — employers, program designers, service providers, shopkeepers, friends and families — to celebrate them in a special award ceremony.
New survey to find out the Kawartha Lakes community’s interest in building pollinator habitats
Members of the Kawartha Lakes community are asked to provide their opinion on the below proposed By-law amendment by completing the Building Pollinator Habitats Survey on the Jump In, Kawartha Lakes website (www.jumpinkawarthalakes.ca).

Strathcona Cup 2023
The Fenelon Falls Curling Club had the great honour of being part of the 120th “Scots Tour to Canada – Strathcona Cup” on Sunday, January 22nd. This year fifteen teams (60 Scots) arrived to play 350 games all across Canada. Eighty five curling facilities and 1400 Canadian Curlers will get to play against the Scots.

Kawartha Field Naturalists Present a Talk on Invasive Species
We invite you to our first meeting of 2023 - Trent University MSc Candidate Nick Weissflog will be introducing us to a new way of thinking about invasive species! This meeting will be held on Monday January 9th at 7pm at 89 Colborne Street (in the basement of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church) in Fenelon Falls, and is open and free to all interested in attending. The talks will also be paired with coffee/tea and holiday treats!
