Kawartha Lakes Fire Rescue and KATVA/KORMA unite to enhance trail safety with what3words app signage

Kawartha Lakes Fire Rescue Service (KLFRS) is proud to announce a collaborative effort with volunteers from the Kawartha All-Terrain Vehicle Association (KATVA) and Kawartha Off-Road Motorcycle Association (KORMA) to enhance trail safety within Kawartha Lakes. Together, they are installing what3words app reminder signage throughout the expansive Kawartha Lakes trail system to help ensure the safety and well-being of trail users.

Through the Provincially funded Starter Company PLUS program, Kawartha Lakes SBC offers business training, mentorship and a grant up to $5,000 to help eligible entrepreneurs successfully launch their business.

Through the Recipe Revival project, recipes will be collected from community submissions and the City of Kawartha Lakes archives. By bringing these recipes back to life, the program ensures that the flavours and stories of the past continue to inspire present and future generations.
