Kawartha Lakes Fire Rescue Service urges public to install free what3words app this long weekend
After a successful rollout period, Kawartha Lakes Fire Rescue Service is once again urging the public to download the free what3words app before Victoria Day long weekend. In an emergency, identifying precisely where help is needed is critical to getting resources to the scene quickly, however this can be challenging when callers are in remote or unfamiliar areas, without street addresses or on unnamed trails.
Fenelon Falls Turkey Trot Fun Run/walk joins the Fenelon Chamber of Commerce
Fenelon Falls annual thanksgiving weekend fun run/walk is set for Saturday October 7th 10 am at Garnet Graham Park. The event is in its 6th year and is an opportunity for local folks and visitors from outside the area to take part in some outdoor physical activity on thanksgiving weekend.

Colborne Street Gallery’s latest exhibition, The Pickled Painters, has a reception taking place this weekend on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 4-7pm. The artists will be in attendance as well, so it should be a super fun evening!
Seasonal Road Waste Collection and Summer Landfill Hours Return May 1, 2023
Curbside waste and recycling collection returns for seasonal residents on Monday May 1. Please keep in mind that all waste must be disposed of in clear bags and that there is a two bag waste limit. Any additional bags and large items require pre-paid tags for collection.

The 37th Annual Kawartha Lakes Country Living Show (KLCLS) is in the books and it was a record breaking success! During the 3 day event more than 3500 people came out (even in the pouring rain) to see over 125 vendors, community groups, artists, and local makers.

The Grove Theatre: Now Hiring!
The Grove Theatre will be hiring 10 positions, from administrative and media coordinators to deck hands, carpenters, sound operators and production assistants. They’re also hiring 2 musicians: a drummer and an upright bass player.

Next Monday evening, April 24th, there is going to be a BIG FUNDRAISER EVENT here in as the Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society will be having a Silent Auction, as well as a guest speaker at their monthly meeting! There will be over 20 auction items - all donated by local businesses and individual donors.
