Community Volunteers Working Together
A Food Handling Certification Course has been arranged between the Health Unit and the Seniors Club. Verda has arranged for this course to take place at the club on Thursday September 21st from 9 to 4. Pre-registration is required by September 11th. Although this course is open to all, in recognition of the important role volunteers play in our society the $40.00 fee for the course will be waived to any volunteer who provides us with a letter from an organization they are currently volunteering with.
Volunteering Is Good for You
The Fenelon Falls Seniors’ Club runs entirely on volunteers, from maintenance to the treasurer to setting up for activities and events and everything in between. Without volunteers the centre would not remain operational.
