Cross Country Quilt Tour Chapter 2
In the first installment we saw a picture of the Stephen Lewis Foundation 20th Anniversary quilt: the entire quilt, from afar. Now the quilt has actually arrived in Fenelon Falls and we can see the breath taking reality and the minute details. It was featured at Moonlight Madness at the Lil Wee Quilt Shoppe on Saturday June 24.

One of Globus Theatre’s all-time best-selling shows is back, a decade after it first hit their stage with a bang!
Beginning June 21 until July 8, the best-selling show Sexy Laundry returns to the Globus Theatre stage, 10 years after it debuted. A romantic comedy about relighting that spark! A middle-aged couple realize that they have hit a physical plateau and, armed with a copy of Sex for Dummies they check themselves into a fancy spa hotel with a mission … to jump start their marriage.

On Thursday May 11, the Fenelon Falls Grannies for Grannies held a mini fundraiser at the library. Tammy, from Thurstons Family Butchers, was the workshop leader.
Sturgeon Point Art Show
An art show and sale is coming to Sturgeon Point on Saturday July 8 from 10-5pm! 17 Fourth Street, Fenelon Falls. Local painters and Sturgeon Point residents, Elizabeth Barrett and Annabelle Murray, are organizing and participating in a one-day art show and sale with 6 other artists.

Fenelon Falls Will Be A Stop in the Cross Country Quilt Road Show!
This year the Stephen Lewis foundation celebrates its 20th anniversary. Here in Fenelon Falls, we have a hard working Granny group that has been in existence for over 15 years. We are proud to say, from our small community, we have raised over $40,000. AND!! we are very proud to say that the 20th Anniversary Solidarity Quilt, created by hundreds of Granny hands, started in Africa, and finished here in Canada by quilting groups in Manitoba and Kitchener Waterloo, will be appearing in OUR town!
The Fenelon Station Gallery Remodels the Train Station
The Fenelon Station Gallery makes its home in Fenelon Falls’ historic train station. The old ‘makeup’ has been stripped from the building exterior with new boards replacing deteriorated ones. Currently, it is an exciting mess!
Pollinator Heroes + The 4th Annual Bee a Hero Contest
Bee City Kawartha Lakes will have an information booth at the Lindsay Farmers' Market on June 24, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. In the the spirit of Pollinator Week, they will be giving away 100 Native Pollinator Plants to the public at this event. They also invite children under the age of 13 to participate in the Kids Art contest. Each contestant will have the chance to win one of two X-Large pizzas, generously donated by Formerly Tony’s in Lindsay.
