Call for Submissions for That's a Wrap Traffic Control Box Art Program
Kawartha Lakes is excited to announce the launch of a temporary public art initiative to wrap select traffic control boxes in the municipality with art. That’s a Wrap traffic control box art program will enliven the landscape, help to reduce graffiti and visually connect the communities of Kawartha Lakes for area residents and visitors.
Garden Tour Welcomes Visitors to Fenelon Falls on Saturday
The Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society is ready to show off the town to visitors this Saturday as we celebrate the Year of the Garden – ‘Live the Garden Life’ with a Tour of Fenelon Falls Public Gardens. For over 100 years volunteers from the Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society have worked to maintain the public gardens within the village. Join the celebration and come to the Fenelon Fall Horticultural Society Garden Tour on Saturday, July 16, from 10 am to 2 pm.

UNIQUE ART SHOW: AN ARTFUL LEGACY
Something very special is coming to the Kawarthas. Three proudly Ukrainian-Canadian siblings are holding a joint art show and sale July 30-31 in Fenelon Falls. The adult children of prolific painter Lillian Nesdoly were inspired by her creativity to take up their own artistic tools in tribute to her lasting legacy. The Ross Memorial Hospital Auxiliary can celebrate a long legacy of hospital support — both through its onsite services that enhance patients’ experiences and its fundraising support for vital hospital needs. Today, the Auxiliary is helping to meet the community’s need for a new MRI with a donation of $40,000!

Bobcaygeon Kinettes Serve Community’s Greatest Needs
The ripple effect of the generosity of the Kinette Club of Bobcaygeon spreads throughout the City of Kawartha Lakes. In a heart-warming gathering at the Bobcaygeon Legion on June 21, the Kinette Club donated a total of $11,500 to 17 not-for-profit organizations that support Bobcaygeon and the entire municipality.
