From the Fenelon Falls Horticultural Society
Our general meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 24th! Please join us for a very informative and enjoyable gathering. Our guest speaker will be Stephanie Kidd. She is a red seal certified horticultural technician and has been involved in garden installations for private residences as well as for many public spaces including Yonge and Dundas Square, the Ontario Science Centre, Princess Margaret Hospital and the Gardener Museum, to name only a few.

The Grove Theatre in Fenelon Falls is proud to announce its exciting lineup of mainstage productions for the upcoming season. Presenting "The Comedy of Errors" and "Million Dollar Quartet," The Grove aims to provide a festival-like experience for theatregoers, offering two completely different shows in repertory.

Globus Theatre has created an exciting and hilarious summer murder mystery for their 20th season. The Great Palm Tree Beach Tiki Bar Tragedy runs from July 19 to July 29. This interactive show will have theatre patrons turning detective to solve the mystery while dining and enjoying a drink in the beautiful dining room at the Lakeview Arts Barn.
The Turtle Guardians are Back!
The Turtle Guardians are back at the bookstore this summer! Come visit Grace and the Teaching Turtles on Friday, July 7th from 12:00 - 2:00 pm at The Book Lady in Fenelon Falls. Shop their "turtley" cool merch, learn the correct way to lift a snapping turtle, and become a turtle hero!
Cross Country Quilt Tour Chapter 2
In the first installment we saw a picture of the Stephen Lewis Foundation 20th Anniversary quilt: the entire quilt, from afar. Now the quilt has actually arrived in Fenelon Falls and we can see the breath taking reality and the minute details. It was featured at Moonlight Madness at the Lil Wee Quilt Shoppe on Saturday June 24.

Green was the color of the day as 27 girls from Langton Public School gathered at Garnet Graham Park in Fenelon Falls to set off for a 5k run along the trail and back.

Pollinator Heroes + The 4th Annual Bee a Hero Contest
Bee City Kawartha Lakes will have an information booth at the Lindsay Farmers' Market on June 24, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. In the the spirit of Pollinator Week, they will be giving away 100 Native Pollinator Plants to the public at this event. They also invite children under the age of 13 to participate in the Kids Art contest. Each contestant will have the chance to win one of two X-Large pizzas, generously donated by Formerly Tony’s in Lindsay.

"Queen of the Fringe" Alex Dallas brings critically acclaimed show, Horseface, to Globus Theatre
On June 15, Globus Theatre will present Horseface, a powerful and comedic show performed by veteran comedienne Alex Dallas. Alex is a stalwart of the International Fringe Festival circuit and has earned the name, Queen of the Fringe, having performed in more than 150 Fringe theatre festivals worldwide, starting in Edinburgh in 1982.
