Free Skill Clinic at The Fenelon Falls Curling Club
The Ontario Curling Association (OCA) held a free Skill Clinic on Saturday, October 23rd at the Fenelon Falls Curling Club. Three highly trained and experienced instructors provided workshops on delivery, brushing techniques, skill analysis and strategy development.
Dream Ball Announces Unique 2021 COVID-Friendly Format
The 2021 Dream Ball charitable event will carry on the 25+ tradition this year in a unique format. The Dream Ball committee has planned the Restaurant Rendezvous on Saturday, November 20th with 5 restaurants in City of Kawartha Lakes and Peterborough participating. Tickets will be sold for simultaneous private events at each of the restaurants.

This week I replicated the tomato soup I enjoyed while in France last month. I started by roasting the last of the tomatoes from my garden. My version is mildly spicy and quite satisfying.

The Grove Theatre Pumpkin Parade
Join us for The Grove Theatre’s first Pumpkin Parade, giving second life to Fenelon’s goolish carvings! A FREE walk-through event on November 1st and November 2nd from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. This event is great for all-ages to stroll through the theatre while having a look at the wide variety of Fenelon's carved pumpkins.

Pink WRCrawlers Raise Over $100,000.00 towards Breast Cancer Research
On Sunday October 3, we hit the streets of the village of Rosedale to do our annual walk. This year the official ceremonies were virtual, as the regular events were cancelled to keep everyone safe. This was our 17th year to take part in this event and our Team of 10 fun ladies and friends completed our walk to the finish line, just as the rain drops began to fall.

Volunteers at Ross Memorial Hospital share a proud history: 117 years of service and fundraising to support local patient care. Through boom and bust years, the RMH Auxiliary has dedicated its work to make the Ross Memorial an exceptional community hospital.
Therese Scheer & Friends’ Fundraisers Exceed $150,000
Therese Scheer has felt the loss of a loved one to breast cancer. It’s one of the emotions that drives her passion to raise funds for breast cancer care at Ross Memorial Hospital. Thanks to that commitment, and Therese’s ability to inspire others to get involved, she has also witnessed how good people can impact patient care through a good cause.

Local Gardener Beautified the Gardens in Front of St. James Anglican Church
Lynne Jackson is a local gardener. It is her hard work and masterful hand that have beautified the gardens in front of St. James Anglican Church on Bond St. E. Walk by and take a look! Her handiwork includes a lime green border spilling over the rock walls and right along the sidewalk, a beautiful, colourful nasturtium border. AND!! Look at this beautiful, colourful salad she served for Thanksgiving dinner.

The Barn & Bunkie was THE SPOT to be this past weekend. With their completely redone backyard filled with greenery and cute photo spots, Brandy has truly outdone herself. She hosted The Handmade Harvest on Saturday and Sunday where vendors from all over came to showcase their items.
The Moose Lodge Leaves a Legacy of Support for RMH Patients
For 93 years, members of The Moose Lodge in Lindsay have been committed to caring for the young and old, bringing communities closer together and celebrating life. Having made the difficult decision to dissolve the Lindsay Lodge due to the challenges posed by the pandemic and decreasing membership, members are living their mission with a final gesture of generosity.
