Move over gingerbread, it's Banana Baking Contest Time!
Thanks to Sobeys, many of us were treated to free bananas this past Monday, after the store received 100 extra boxes with their shipment. So, I thought a Fenelon Falls Banana Baking Contest would be a fun way to use those bananas! Next Tuesday, November 22nd, please drop off your contest entries to the Cow & Sow between 11am and 7pm. Be sure to fill out the entry form.

Proud Announcement from St James Anglican Church
St. James Anglican Church, Fenelon Falls and the Digital Museums Canada are proud to announce the completion of a joint project. St. James received a grant to tell the story of Anne Langton and her part in the history of St. James the Apostle Anglican Church. The exhibition is now streaming on the Digital Museums Canada website.

Artist, Donna Bisschop, Brings Colour and Joy to Local Lore
Speaking with artist, Donna Bisschop, over the phone feels like a cozy meander through the woods. Multi-talented Donna moved to Fenelon eight years ago on Hallowe’en. She is a visual artist first, working mainly in acrylics both large scale and small, but is also a passionate vocalist and drummer with her band, Dig the Moon.
Wellness Connections Program Helping Older Adults Stay Healthy at Home
Staying connected and finding out about local programs and services isn’t always easy, especially for those in our community that don’t have access to the right technology. The KL-OHT recently announced the launch of their reimagined and free Wellness Connections Program, which helps seniors get connected to local programs and services. The program also provides the option to sign up to their online learning platform, which provides various courses to help older adults learn how to stay healthy at home.

Kawartha Lakes Reveals the Chosen Submissions for the 2022 That's a Wrap Art Program
Kawartha Lakes, in collaboration with Kawartha Arts Network, launched the That’s a Wrap art program this summer. The goal of the program was to enliven our downtown landscapes with eye-popping artwork that captures and displays the individual and collective experiences of our community on traffic control boxes around the municipality.
