Residents can expect to see construction work starting to take place mid to late January on the Fenelon Falls Bridge located on Lindsay Street. Clearwater Structures will be on site installing new steels frames as a proactive measure to increase support for the structure.

Today, Saturday, November 28, was a beautiful sunny day. As I travelled around doing my errands in Fenelon Falls I was struck by what a big-hearted community we are. At Sobeys, a lady in a wheelchair was sitting beside the “Out” door collecting money for the Salvation Army. In a corner of the Sobeys parking lot, two young boys were waving plastic jugs of windshield washer fluid. Trentside Baptist church was offering windshield washer fluid fill up...for free! Not even asking for a donation.

In case you haven’t heard, our lovely community of Fenelon Falls is getting its very own 450-seat outdoor amphitheatre. We have been overwhelmed with the positive response from the community and beyond – everyone is so excited about this project that will bring the arts to life in Fenelon Falls! It is a source of inspiration and happiness during these difficult times. In order to make it happen, we need your help! “All of our Co-op projects rely on community support for success,” said Jim Armstrong, President of Kawartha Works Community Co-operative.
